Did you know the GoPro hero 3 and 4 have a range of 180m's using the GoPro app? Should be great for some KAP.

I have been looking at drones as away to try and get some aerial video/stills of the kite buggy in action, but maybe the cheaper option would be KAP (kite aerial photography) - inspired by +Ciarán May Birdseye Kite Photography ...

As I have a bit of cash I may have a look at this to see if it is a viable option. I would need a set up I could launch and leave and that would work with my GoPro.

Im thinking a few bits from the kite shop...

I finally sold my MBS comp 90 on eBay, so I now have $300 burning a hole in my pocket!

I'm going to get a new Garmin Etrex 10 as mine was stolen a while back, and a bigger battery for my camcorder...

That should leave about $150 which I need to come with some ideas of what to spend it on!

Crowdfunding...

I feel a bit uncomfortable with this, but thought I would try crowdfunding to buy a Solo Smart drone..

I know I said I was in love with Lily! But the smart drone is more powerful and, I guess, just smarter.

Its been online for 48 hours and no interest, I've never been one for blowing my own trumpet! I may give it a few more days then delete it.

Winter wind equation...

We are starting to get into the frustrating winter weather patterns...

Sun = No wind = Ozone Chrono 12-15m

Rain = wind = stay at home in bed!

The problem is I don't own a big Ozone Chrono!
